The numbers you keep asking for
Which machines are running and which are down. How many parts each line has made this shift. Whether a work center is holding its run rate. How much downtime there was yesterday, and the reasons behind it. Scrap, where the data exists. OEE, and how all of it trends from week to week.
The dashboard puts those answers on one screen, read straight from the machines, so your managers and supervisors look at the same numbers instead of their own versions of them.
A plain word on OEE: the machines supply availability and counts, but the shift calendar and the ideal cycle time for each part usually come from your ERP or your standards, not from the controls. We bring those in with your team rather than guess at them.
What we put in place
One team handles controls and PLC work, including Allen-Bradley, data architecture and integration, backend and frontend development, and ERP advisory. Between us, that is 20+ years building systems inside operations-heavy businesses.
- A map of your data. Every PLC, HMI, Kepware or OPC server and spreadsheet that holds a number worth seeing, traced tag by tag.
- A read-only connection. We read tags and logs. There is no write path to the controls.
- Tags with context. Raw signals cleaned up and tied to lines, work centers, parts, shifts and stop reasons.
- A live plant dashboard. Machine status, part counts, run rates, uptime and downtime with reasons, scrap where the data exists, OEE and trends.
- A structured data layer with APIs. One set of numbers that reports and other systems can draw on.
What stays yours
The dashboard runs inside your environment. The code is yours, the data is yours and the systems are yours. We build it that way on purpose: a plant's numbers should belong to the plant.
Because the connection only reads, nothing we install sends a command to a PLC or changes a setpoint. Your controls and IT people are welcome to check that for themselves.
Once the build is done, ongoing support is there if you want it. It is an option, not a licence you need to keep the dashboard running.
